Man, celebs and their divorces! I heard about three today! That's crazy! They are all just breaking up left and right. First it was Matt LeBlanc, and then Kris Benson and his insane wife, and finally, Russell Simmons and Kimora Lee. Ending marriages is all the rage today.

Apparently there are also rumors that Russell Simmons is gay.

We got a dress code at work recently:

From today forward, casual business attire, as a minimum, will be required.by everyone.

To be more specific this means: no sneakers, no sweatpants, and no jeans. Shirts with

collars are also required.

For those who do not comply, they will be asked to leave and forfeit the day's compensation.

Ken

Like all things disciplinary at work this lasted for about no days. Yesterday no one seemed to have any problem with my Big Business shirt with the giant pentagram on it even during the meeting with the new analyst who'll be writing research for us. I must admit that I felt a little self-conscious.

I'm just going to turn this into an assy picture blog I think. There's just so much to report on.

I'm fully aware that reading people's IM conversations on blogs is boring. But, in this case I don't care. Robert and I had this exchange the other day:

MMRbooking: yeah.. man you should have seen the incompentance when Marks house got broken into.
MMRbooking: basically enough info came in to find the people, some one tipped off the cops and told them who it was. Other people described them and the vehicle
MMRbooking: The cops didn't really do anything, except stake out the donut shop (no joke!) because some one with "info was supposed to be there.
MMRbooking: seriously!
MMRbooking: that's not a bad cop no donut joke!
theseventyones: WOW
theseventyones: staked out a donut shop
MMRbooking: Clearly the whole thing was a ploy to get mark and his roommates away from the house and the cops didn't even have anyone watching the house, Mark and his roommates boyfriend has to hang out in the house while his other rommate was meeting "the lady in pink"
theseventyones: this is really insane
MMRbooking: the whole thing was insane
MMRbooking: the funniest part is that the robbers used a u-haul and they suggested to the cop that since they burglers had run up a huge bill at target they should check allt he u-hauls in that area.
MMRbooking: the cops said... nah that won't work.
MMRbooking: they had a name of a suspect and didn't check to see if they rented a uhaul
theseventyones: this really has a high wow factor.
theseventyones: "Nah, that makes NO sense! Leave the policework to us!"
MMRbooking: I know.. crazy, oh yeah and they had to deal with Detective Bimbo.
theseventyones: no
MMRbooking: YES!
MMRbooking: although it was a guy I believe
MMRbooking: I know, man this was a drama that unfolded over weeks
theseventyones: Detective Bimbo.
MMRbooking: when the cops FINALLY checked out the place that the suspects lived they had been evicted.
MMRbooking: a few days after that the cops asked, "oh yeah, you know you said somehting about a u-haul... come to think of it, there might of been a u-haul near that house... do you remember what color people said it was?"

So, I'm bummed about Becky giving up Heckasac. It was always a fun read. I hope she starts back up.

In other news, I saw a woman that looked exactly like Mario Andreoni in the coffeeshop today. It was eerie.

Robert and I were discussing today whether or not there was irony used in this undeniabley assy as the day is long picture of the Witnesses. Your thoughts?
