I don't know if you've checked out any Russian news lately but they have the best headlines I've seen in a long time:

Drunk Scuffles With Bear in Ukrainian Zoo(Dude loses)

Teenager Gets Run Over by Flying Plane in South Russia

Ukrainians Make Monumental Mistake in Gift to French

Mounted Police to Combat Train Robbers in Kazakhstan

Russian Schoolboy Dies After 12 Hours of Computer Gaming("Local doctors are sure that the boy was killed by his obsession with virtual reality.")

22-Year-Old Uzbek Pretends to Be 14, Impregnates 11-Year-Old Russian Girl (reminiscent of the poetics found in the Post's famous "Headless body found in topless bar" headline)

Drunk Russian Bites off Woman’s Finger in Railroad Rescue

And my favorite...Victory Day Show at Russian Circus to Feature Nazi Monkeys

More office fun:

We were talking about terrorism and so on here in the office and it was being discussed how there were many immigrants from the middle east in Europe. So The Genius pipes up and says "Thank God our border is with Mexico and those are our immigrants!" to which one of my bosses replied "Yeah they're no threat. They are always taking siestas.". This was said with a total straight face. There was not even even a smirk like there was with the "Manuel labor" joke of a few weeks ago.

This stuff is always a two headed coin. I'm happy with all the blog material this gives me but it makes me want to take a flamethrower to the office.

It was just floated here in the office by J.F. that "[George Bush] is a pretty good looking guy." in response to someone else saying that he looks like Alfred E. Newman.

Discuss.

I guess it took something like Dean's entrance into the world of blogging to set a fire under my ass. Here his site. Check out the Wand Control link. That's my favorite.

This also reminds me that Sterling's rendition of Black Sabbath's "The Wizard" on Saturday was truly one of the finest moments of my or anyone else's life.
